My Five Year Weightloss Journey

Christine Before After Photo

The photo on the left is from 12 years ago. I always struggled with my weight.

Five years ago, in mid July 2015, I decided to join my hubby on his weight loss health journey. He had already lost weight, started exercising and took up running and was able to come off his diabetes meds!

I joined My Fitness Pal, started eating healthier and fueled my body with the proper nutritional vitamins and supplements with Melaleuca’s Peak Performance Packs and started exercising.

I had my ups and downs and I did plateau for over a year. Then I found the R3 weight loss plan and my weight loss continued.

But, the main thing is *I never quit!*

Sometimes, I would get stuck or have bad days, but you just pick yourself up and say tomorrow is a new day.

Now, 5 years later, I lost 110 lbs and a ton of inches. I am down 7 pant sizes! The best is I feel great and I drastically cut my high blood pressure meds by 75%!

Five years is going to go by anyway. Might as well make a decision now to start. It doesn’t matter how old you are now. Age is only a number. I started my health journey at 47.

I am so happy I did! ❤

    1. Thank you. Believe me, sometimes I look at myself in the mirror and I still picture myself about 50 lbs heavier than I am now. Not like I was in the picture. But, I think the mind takes a bit longer to catch up what you are seeing especially when I have been heavy since I was a teenager.

      1. Wow… What do I say? I’m as slim as anything😂

You’d not have achieved that if not because you had a focus.
